The following is a 60 minute documentary about Cat Stevens aka Yusuf Islam: his life, including how he converted to Islam, his absence from the music scene, his new album after 28 years, his humanitarian work and the incident where he was put on the United States government’s anti-terrorism no-fly list for commercial flights. (He’s not on the list anymore)
I present this interview as my own response to the misinformation about Muslim peoples throughout the world, because in fact they are our brothers and sisters and they deserve our respect and our kindness. Yusuf Islam is a shining example of a true global citizen, a man who reaches out to others with his heart and his mind. Watching the interview, one cannot help but to see that one person can truly make a difference!
The interview is organized into two video segments, starting at left and moving to the right, just like reading a book. The last segment is a separate video presentation, but very moving as well; it seems to take over where the first two leave off.
